More Satellite TV Equipment Needed For More Televisions

In order to take advantage of the benefit of satellite TV, equipment will need to be bought or leased from the programming provider and installed in the home, or vehicle depending on the type of service you are hoping to have. The dish, the in-home controller and a remote control are the basic pieces of satellite TV equipment you will need, but if you plan to have televisions in different rooms capable of watching different shows, there is a few more items you will need.

Consider the basic setup for one television, the satellite TV equipment you will need is the dish, the mounting bracket and arm that holds the dish to the house or to a mounting pole in the ground and enough cable to get from the dish to the house. If you are using a dual LNB, you will need to have two lengths of cable. Both cables are then connected to the back of the set top box and will enable you to watch one channel while recording on another channel. If you want two televisions hooked up the same way, you will need a dual splitter.

The splitter will have two inputs on one side and four outputs on the other side to which the cables from the LNB are connected. Two of the outputs are for cables going to one television and other two connect cables to the other television, allowing to record one channel while watching a second channel on both sets. Without this piece of satellite TV equipment, you will only be able to watch or record one channel.

Every Television Requires Its Own Programming Card

Every television connected to the satellite will need its own satellite TV equipment such as a descrambler box equipped with the programming card. Unless you own one of the new televisions that are licensed by the satellite provider that has a built in descrambler, this satellite TV equipment is necessary.

The set top boxes, typically provided free from the satellite company, are also available for purchase from selected retailers. The only advantage of owning your own satellite TV equipment is that if it breaks, you can buy a replacement and go back to watching television the same day. If you have to have a replacement sent to you, the service will not be available for two or three days until the new satellite TV equipment arrives. You will still need to call the satellite service and have it programmed to your level of service, but you can have your programming back in a couple of hours instead of a couple of days.

You learn things from your parents and family that are not healthy. Take charge and eliminate all the soda, icecream, chips and replace with LIVE FOOD. Vegetables, nuts, omega 3 and berries. I was once depressed and had chronic fatigue along with a host of other problems. It was only when I decided to go against my doctors and go holistic. I am depressed and chronic fatigue free. For those of you who are ill and think there is no cure, read the Water cure and and seasalt remedy.

For the one's that are claiming you are FAT... and the one's that are complaining about junk food & etc... Hear this... I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia, when, I was 15. I am now 41. Now, I am a full blown diabetic. I recently was bed bound for 9 months. I am now breaking down little by little. On top of that, since I did not take care of my hypoglycemic, I was diagnosed with schlerosis of the liver due to overweight and the diabetes taking over. Can anyone top that? You are right, you keep eating sweets, junk food and all the greasy foods. You will end up having cardio problems. This is one my other diagnosis. So, please take care of yourselves so, you won't have to leave your children and family one day. You can consider, my days are counted. FYI: When, my doctor told me... I cried for a week that my eyes looked like frog eyes. With prayers, my tears have been minimal. As I am telling you this, I am crying because it is so hard for me to know that I won't see my children grow up. YES, being active and staying away from pop and etc. it is a start. Oh, I was placed on a fat free diet and I lost 17 1/2 pounds in three weeks; perhaps my liver diagnosis will be reversed. Goodluck...

this is true i have an addiction to sugar and i know it. I eat candy, ice cream, fries, etc everyday and I just found out I am hypoglemic and am waiting for the results of the diabetes test. JUNK FOOD IS REALLY BAD FOR YOU TRUST ME i am only 15 and now have to deal with it for the rest of my life. I am active and everything I mean I am in the right weight range but my body fat is a lot higher than it should be. I need help

My Mother-in-law and I went on this fast for 3 1/2 days. I was leaving to come home, but I believe I could have done it a lot longer., the first two days were a little hard. Warming the water on the stove helped a LOT! I could tell my body was starting to cleanse. She is very knowledgeable, is 83, and in VERY good shape for her age! Anything you can do naturally to help your body is not crap - Sodas, Whoppers, and Greasy French Fries are Crap.
