This is so that a phone call can come in without the phone making a noise and is useful in all types of social situations. I have found that using the vibrate feature on my phone drains my cell phone batteries very quickly. Another person I know with the same phone has the same problem. My husband, with a different brand of phone, does not. That is why you will have to wait and see what your particular phone will to do the batteries in your cell phone.

One some phones, you can now store and listen to music. When you have one of these phones, this might mean you have to charge your cell phone batteries once or even twice a day. On some other models, this drains very little power. At first, I thought music was what was draining my power, but it actually has very little effect on my battery. If you find that no matter what you do your phone is dying all of the time, it might just mean it is time for new cell phone batteries. Most don’t keep their phones that long, but it might be something you have to replace.
