Life Story

We all have a life story, though some I guess are arguably more interesting than others. I believe everyone has a story to tell, however, and if you want to tell yours, there is no reason why you can’t. Granted, you may not find a publisher willing to publish your biography and place it in bookstores around the world, but you can write out your life story if you wish. You may be surprised that you do have a story to tell, no matter where you have been, or have not been, in your life. Your life story is yours, and someone will find value in what you have to say.

I have a friend who has an amazing life story, and I only wish he would grant me permission to write it. Because we are not close friends, I doubt he would grant me the honor, but a girl can dream right? No matter what happens or who gets the honor, I hope he will one day decide that he’d like to tell the world his life story, and that he knows how interesting he is. While this man may have many clamoring to tell his tale, you may not have the same. You can still do it though, and you can do it on your own.

You don’t have to be a professional writer to pen your life story, but if you are really bad at putting ideas and thoughts into a manageable order, you may want to hire a ghostwriter to write your life story for you. If you advertise on sites known to be frequented by writers looking for work, you may find someone who will be willing to help you. Be up front about what you can pay, and what the project will entail. You will find someone out there willing to help you out for the right price.

Once you have your life story written, there are many ways you can get your tale out there. If you can’t find a publisher, you can publish it on your own. There are many companies out there that allow you to publish your own book, though you have to take care of marketing your book on your own. Before you sign with any such company, make sure they are legitimate, as there are many scam artists out there surrounding the self-publishing world. Even if you only end up giving a few copies of your life story to friends and family, you will feel the satisfaction of having told your tale.
