Crossword Puzzle Magazines
If you were to come to my house you would find a lot of crossword puzzle magazines. For some reason, I have a lot of them, but most of them are not completed. I don’t know what it is, but for some reason I never seem to finish one book before I buy another. These are something I like to have around though, and perhaps that is why I am always picking them up at the last minute while I am at the grocery store. I suspect that I’m not the only one, as I have found stacks of them in my mother’s house as well. My mother may have a lot of crossword puzzle magazines simply because she never throws anything away. If I am at her house and I have nothing to do, and will pick one of them up and have a go at a few puzzles. It is interesting to me to see that she has almost completely finished many of her crossword puzzle magazines, there are always a few blank puzzles left. I will finish these puzzles, and show her that the book is completed. Instead of throwing away that book, she will stack it back in the pile. I just don’t get it.
You can find crossword puzzle magazines almost anywhere you buy regular magazines. There are often different types of these, and they range from easy to seriously complicated. Though I know there are a lot of people who claim they love to do the crossword puzzle in the New York Times, I am not one of these people. I am far from being stupid, but these puzzles are always too hard for me. Instead, I like to buy the easy or medium crossword puzzle magazines for times when I want to do a puzzle. I like to do them because it gives me a chance to stretch my mind, and also gives me a sense of satisfaction when I finish one.
Right now, I think I have at least six different crossword puzzle magazines in my house. I don’t have a lot of room, so perhaps I should go ahead and finish a few of them. Crossword puzzle magazines don’t tend to take up a lot of space, but once they start to stack up, it can be hard for me to find a place for them. When my brother comes to visit, he likes to pick these up and do a few himself. He’s not much of a reader, and never went to college, but he does like to prove he can think. Perhaps this is why we all loved crossword puzzle magazines so much.
