Pablo Picasso is a very famous artist of the Twentieth Century whose odd perspective is found through his distorted, two-dimensional images that appear flat on the canvas. The colors that Picasso uses in his artwork are striking and powerful. They convey confidence and strength. Picasso’s color in art reflects mood as well as tone. His color choices tell a story aside from the forms found in the work. The color in his art conveys meaning without needing any shape or form.

Claude Monet is another well-known artist who uses color in art to transform the world around him. His paintings are soft and the colors seem to melt into each other.
