If, for example, you ask people if they believe in supporting the president before asking about how they feel about the current president, they are much more likely to express a positive opinion. That is why you have to take public opinion surveys with a grain of salt. Make sure to get a look at the questions they asked before you subscribe to their conclusions. If the questions seems reasonable, you can probably trust them.
