Some of the best places to buy cheap knives are craft fairs. Renaissance fairs in general are not great locations for buying cheap stuff, but sometimes outdoor markets are. If businesses is good that day, you never know when someone will decide to hook you up with a good bargain. The savings can be pretty impressive.

When you're buying cheap knives, you have to pay attention to what they are made for. Sometimes, a cheap knife is not the best choice. Ceremonial daggers and decorative knives do not have to be well made – all they have to be is pretty. If you're using a cutting blade, however, you want one that is nice and sharp. Otherwise , the are liable to break, putting you in danger. It is not worth saving 20 dollars if it means losing a finger!
