Another powerful feature of motivation in the workplace is independence of the worker who must be able to think on his or her own and not have to be told what to do, which is something that almost all employees do not like. If the employer lets employees know what is expected of them and then allow them to do their work, this would act as a great motivation in the workplace.
Finally, motivation in the workplace also means giving employees latitude to perform their tasks and leaving room for error is recommended and so, having an alternative plan should things go wrong is another way of encouraging better performance, and thus it acts as the right motivation in the workplace.
