Whether you're male or female, you still may have tested out an electric razor. Since both genders struggle with unacceptable hair, unsuitable for most workplaces, we all fight a redundant battle with the stubble. Electric razors come in all shapes and sizes. Probably the two most common of brands are Braun and Norelco. These companies both offer a good variety of shavers from different price ranges.

Norelco typically offers an electric appeal with the benefit of a blade. These razors generally operate with a triple blade system that results in a close painless shave. A new innovation concerning these electrics is the ever-popular wet/dry option, which allows the man or woman to shave in the shower with a unique gel that exudes from the razor itself, hence creating an easy, convenient experience.

Being a blade man myself, I sometimes have to resort back to the convenience of an electric razor simply for a change. We always hear that nothing shaves as close as a blade. Fortunately that is no longer really true. If you have ever tried some of the modern electrics, you know that they shave with exceptional closeness.

Electric razors are typically easier when traveling or on the move/in a hurry. While we require a gel or cream along with water for our blades, electrics require nothing, simply charge them and go. You can shave on the way to work or in an airport bathroom. This is a benefit no longer hoarded by men. Women make use of these electric advantages now days as well. The female legs and armpits no longer require a shower or bath.

In short, electric razors have been around for some time, but are now clearly more perfected than ever. Depending on what you wish to spend, various bells and whistles are available for your luxury and convenience. Personally, I believe that if you're going to invest in an electric razor and rid yourself of the million dollar cartridges that used to go for 4 bucks a pack, I suggest getting the razor of your dreams. Even if you spend $150-200 on your new electric, it should last you for years to come. Before you know it, it will have paid itself off when you no longer have to purchase the cartridges and creams.
