If you are in the mood for a relaxing night of laughs you may want to invest in the Blue Collar Comedy Tour DVD. This is one of the funniest collections of laugh-out-loud humor that my family has seen in decades. Four talented comedians have combined their hilarious insight and witty jokes to create a really funny composition that is sure to please.
My favorite among the four in the Blue Collar Comedy Tour is Ron White. I think that I find him so entertaining because he is such a wonderful writer. His wit is beyond imagination and his delivery is timed perfectly. The inflection in his voice and the perfect pauses help to create a hilarious presentation. I loved Ron White’s skit on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour that I invested in the DVD. While I do tend to neglect the other comedians in the set I am glad that I bought the entire collection rather than a segment just starring Ron White. Somehow the group seems to build on one another throughout the program.
Of course, Ron will always be my favorite in the collection. However, Larry the Cable Guy comes in a close second. He has received great exposure since appearing in the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. Sometimes this can work against a comedian especially one that has such a catchy character.
One catchy phrase, “Get ‘er done,” has reached maximum exposure in some circles. I do know that Larry the Cable Guy is definitely my husband’s favorite among the group and I am all too familiar with the phrase. I have heard it repeated countless times since we first saw the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. This is fine as long as he doesn’t start imitating him too much. What is funny on screen might not translate too well in a room full of relatives who may not be too familiar with the new classics.
Another member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour has built his career on a catchy phrase. The “You May be a Redneck” series has brought laughs to audiences for many years. You would think that it would lose its spark but as long as Jeff Foxworthy keeps coming up with his hilarious observations I see no end in sight.
The last guy in the Blue Collar Comedy Tour is a hoot as well but he just doesn’t have the impact that the other three do, at least in our home. However, the entire collection just wouldn’t be the same without all four guys. The Blue Collar Comedy Tour is a relatively new production that will be remembered for years to come.
