After a month you will notice that the wine mixture is beginning to get much clearer, and this is what you should be looking for. Now, you just siphon off the lees into a clean jug and allow this to set until completely clear.

Just remember that the best results are only going to come with time and so you should not get frustrated if your wine does not turn out perfectly the first couple of times.
