Often, home schooling may not lead to earning home school credit and this may put children off taking this course of action, though they also need to consider that there is a difference between earning an education and getting a certificate. The numbers of those who study in high schools and earn diplomas are many, though the amount of education they have received may not be of too high a standard. It may thus be more advisable to get educated rather than worry about receiving a certificate and be too bothered about whether schools will recognize and give you home school credit for the time you spent at home learning various subjects.
