How To Re-Grip Your Golf Clubs

The re-gripping process at times can be a messy one, so a garage or basement is probably the best location for this kind of work. Many people wear gloves during this process because you are dealing with toxics like glue and lighter fluid. Make sure there is good ventilation in your work area and that it has a good source of fresh air. As a safety measure, do not smoke during this project or allow anyone into the work area that is smoking. You will also need a vise and a special rubber shaft holder.

After you have very carefully cleaned the area around the grip area, use a utility knife to make a clean cut all the way through the grip, just touching the tape underneath.
