I recently took a trip to Las Vegas Nevada, and boy oh boy was it ever fun! We stayed at the Boulder Station hotel and casino, and had a grand old time there. There are many casino hotels in Las Vegas, but after staying at the Boulder Station hotel and casino, I was happy enough with my visit to see no reason to ever try a different one. After all, why mess with success. It seems like it could be such a mistake to try somewhere else when I have already had a really good time right there. I don't think I would even want to try it.

One of my favorite things at the Boulder Station hotel and casino was watching the music acts. They do not just have the ubiquitous Las Vegas show girls. You can see them anywhere at all on the strip. But at the Boulder Station hotel and casino, they have some of the best blues acts that I have ever seen regularly coming through there. It is such a good deal, because you get to see some great blues, and there is no cover charge at all. Of course, the people who run the Boulder Station hotel and casino know that the free blues is a big draw, and that besides, people who are in Las Vegas watching blues are more than likely to run up quite a tab drinking, and therefore pay for the night. I know I did just that while I was there. But even still, it is quite nice to be able to heard such sweet and sad music without having to pay 30 or 40 bucks just to get in.

Of course, there is also gambling, as the name Boulder Station hotel and casino no doubt implies. I am not a really high stakes guy. I like to earn my money, and I like to keep my money. But even so, the thrill of just taking a few hundred bucks and risking it over a weekly stay is sort of cool. I even won a few hands in black jack, and although I ended up busting eventually, I got a good 6 hours of playing time for it. All in all, I consider it money well spent. The food at the Boulder Station hotel and casino isn't bad either, with one of the best buffets there is in Las Vegas, which is itself a place famous for its excellent buffets.
