For at least the last year or two, I have been a big fan of simple shoes. I used to be much more complex and my tastes. I would always try to be keeping up with the latest styles, buying flashy, trendy shoes. What I found was that I would get more blisters that way, and that my shoes would go out of style quickly. It is true that you can get some attention by wearing the latest flashy styles, but sometimes a simple shoe is best. After all, people don't really look at your feet very much. It's the one part of your outfit that you can afford to relax about. A comfortable walking shoe, sturdy boot, or laid-back sandal is the perfect complement for almost any outfit.

I was pretty overjoyed when I discovered simple brand shoes. It is one of the best named companies I have ever seen. Their shoes have clean lines, simple construction, rugged design, and the laid-back appearance that tells people that you're practical about your footwear. That doesn't mean they don't look good – they do. It's just that they don't go to great lengths to try to impress. They are what they are, and that's fine with me.

Some of my other favorite simple shoes are New Balance. You see, I have unusually wide feet, and I used to have a lot of trouble finding shoes that would fit me. New Balance tennis shoes, however, have always fit me just right. They aren't as flashy as Nike's and Reebok's, and don't contain a lot of unnecessary lines are extra details. They are also extremely comfortable, and reasonably priced. All in all, they are a good shoe for your money.
