When it comes to fishing line you should have between two hundred to three hundred feet. The top seven baits that work with striped bass include clams, eels, anchovies, bloodworms, night crawlers, chicken livers and sand worms. If you are fishing the in the winter you will want to choose a bait that can go into deep water since this is likely where the bass far. If it is during the spring run then you will want to have bait that stays close to the surface since the bass will be on the move and closer to the surface of the water.
