Crystals are stones that have taken millions upon millions of years to develop a certain way, and are thought to hold certain energies that can be drawn out to help promote and cure a number mental, personal and health problems. Many cultures from all over the world throughout the history of the world have believed in utilizing the use of crystal light for healing, and it has even been thought that Jesus himself used crystals for healing, evident in the bible in stories such as when Jesus healed the lepers (Matthew 8:3) and when Jesus restored sight to the blind (Matthew 9:27-30).

The use of crystals was thought to have started with the legend of Atlantis. It is thought that the people of Atlantis were highly evolved and used crystals to channel and release cosmic forces, which were abused among other powers and hence why Atlantis was destroyed. However, it is believed that before it was destroyed, the wise ones programmed certain crystals with the information and planted them for people to find later on, so as to draw out and benefit from their wisdom.

There are a number of ways to draw the energy out of crystals. It is believed that by simply having crystals in your presence, positive energies will emit from them, charging and purifying energy around you (hence why wearing crystals in jewelry has become a common practice today). Other methods allow crystal energy to be drawn out into substances such as water and drank, or through the use of the crystal’s light. This is thought to be one of the best methods as crystals are capable of receiving, projecting and reflecting light which is believed to be the highest form of energy known the in the universe.

Understanding Crystal Light

Everything in the universe carries energy, including sickness, trauma, and mental problems. The light that filters from the crystal are thought to hold certain energies that promote positive energies, ridding the atmosphere and/or body of negative energies that may be causing ill health, trauma, or otherwise. The light from certain crystals will hold certain energies, so certain crystals are used to help rectify certain problems. For instance, to promote inner strength, it is thought that amazonite, diamonds, bloodstone, Indian star garnet are best to be used, whereas for healing, crystals such as malachite, rose quartz, amethyst, watermelon tourmaline are better.

To draw out the light from crystals, simply hang one from your window or place one on your window sill to catch the morning or afternoon rays. This will allow the crystal light to filtrate through your home or office, allowing it’s energies to cleanse and purify the air around you. Alternatively, wear them in a necklace or ring, or carry one in your pocket to utilize the crystal’s energies at all times. Other methods, such as meditating whilst holding the crystal can also work, however finding the most effective one for you is simply a matter of trial and error.
