The Career of a Private Jet Flight Attendant

Working as a private jet flight attendant can be incredibly fun, enjoyable, and satisfying. The process of becoming a private jet flight attendant is also not that difficult. However, most people are basically completely unaware as to what is involved in this process, and therefore do not know the steps that they should take in order to even begin the process.

How to Become a Private Jet Flight Attendant

One of the first steps in evaluating a private jet flight attendant career is to determine whether or not you qualify for the position. After all, every private jet company will have their own set of minimum hiring requirements.

Virtually every private jet flight attendant company will require that you at least have your high school or GED, however more is always better when it comes to education, and many of these private jet companies will look more favorably on those applicants who can prove that they have tried to better themselves by pursuing that of higher education.

In fact, there have been studies recently done in regards to this matter, and one of these studies in particular shows that over half of all flight attendants hired have at least one year of college under their belt, and some of these even have Master’s Degrees or Doctorate’s.

You will also want to have had some sort of customer service experience to show, as being a private jet flight attendant obviously will require good customer service skills and knowledge. However customer service is not usually a firm requirement, although it will clearly give you a better advantage against the competition and in the market overall.

Fluency in a second language is also important but not necessary, however if you cannot speak English fluently than you most likely will not be able to get hired from any private jet company. Generally, those private jet companies that require you to speak another language are those that go to certain international destinations frequently, and therefore it is quite obvious as to why you would need to be fluent in other languages.

As well, every private jet company will require you to have citizenship, and you are also required to have a social security card and a passport. As well, you should be neat and appropriately dressed, and typically no airlines, including that of private jet companies, will allow for any visible tattoos, body piercing, long hair on men, or any other type of bizarre or offensive looking makeup, jewelry, or anything else of the sort.

I have experience as a flight attendant for a commercial airline. Now, I'd like to work as a private jet flight attendant. I speak English, French and Spanish.

I think that I'm very qualified.... And I would be very thankful if you would send me a list of private Jet contacts, or how I go about findinig a few myself. Thanks, Tiffany Stiegler. Beachchickxoxo@aol.com
