Often it's frightening to imagine who you live next to. Think about your entire street, subdivision, or town. Have you any clue who resides within five miles of your home? To my dismay, I discovered that there were two living only a few miles from my subdivision. Don't get me wrong; I was stoked that none lived in it. But, at least now I know their names and addresses. This way I can steer clear of their residences.

I doubt you want to get stuck living next door to a sex offender. This goes double for anyone who has children. Furthermore, it can have a detrimental effect on the property value.
