American Airlines is a good all around airline, and while it isn’t my favorite in terms of service it has flights to and from just about every I’d need to go.

Whatever bank you use probably has airline credit cards available for you to sign up for from them. They’re also advertised all over the web, so its easy to find a way to sign up for one. The important thing is to make sure it’s an airline that has flights going to areas you’ll want to go.
