Your Child Can Benefit Immensely From Early Potty TrainingActually, it is not such a bad idea to consider early potty training for your child, especially if you weigh the pros and cons and come to the conclusion that there are enough benefits to beginning early potty training to consider this as a necessary step in the complete development of your child’s upbringing. However, in the Western world, parents are usually somewhat lax when it comes to early potty training and they generally leave this aspect of child rearing till a later time. A major reason for this could be that they are influenced by the opinions expressed by experts who believe that potty training is most effective when taught to a child after they have attained the age of two years. Understand The Rationale The fact of the matter is that as far back as about thirty years ago, most parents were given to believing that early potty training was a desirable way to act when bringing up their children and thus they began to teach their young ones as soon as they had reached the age of just six months. Hence, it is important to understand that the rationale behind needing to teach early potty training has to do with changes in modern culture rather than any ability in the child to learn proper potty methods at a particular age. In fact, it is quite normal for mothers to begin early potty training. A major reason why today’s parents don’t pay enough attention to early potty training for their children is because both parents may be working at jobs and thus they don’t have any time to spare for such activities. However, this is not going to be advantageous to the child who could actually have benefited greatly from early potty training because they are more amenable to learning how to control their urge to eliminate in the proper manner because the younger they are the more likely it is that they can pick up things related to doing their potty properly. Among the advantages to beginning early potty training are saving thousands of dollars, helping to keep the environment cleaner, making it easier for the child to learn how to sit on the potty and enabling the child to communicate verbally as well as non-verbally whenever the urge to relieve them arises. However, early potty training also requires that you create a regular schedule for your child that must be followed everyday to provide stability and many opportunities for success.
