There are many amenities that have followed big business and employees to the area. Most major hotels and restaurants have locations with in Sioux Falls South Dakota. This has been a large adjustment for the people that have lived their lives in this area prior to the changes.

Sioux Falls SD used to be known as the last big city stop prior to entering pheasant country. Many pheasant hunters would pass through the city on their way to the plains to hunt. The city is still a gateway to some of the best pheasant hunting left in this nation, but there is so much more that it now has to offer. Due to a large cash donation the city is developing a huge medical facility that is quickly gaining a wonderful reputation. It is speculated that before long it will rival the Mayo Clinic in the number of people that it services as well as the quality of medicine that is practiced there. Having such wonderful medical care, business opportunities and quickly developing economy is a wonderful thing for the Midwestern part of the nation. So often this part of the country is referred to as fly over land, but Sioux Falls South Dakota is doing everything they can to insure that people not only stop, but are enticed to stay a while or a life time. The development of this area is a tribute to what being an American is all about.
