Are you that scrawny kid in school? Or maybe you used to be back in the day. Have you adopted a good weight training program since then? This is the best way to beef up and leave the agonizing days of being that skinny nerd in the past. Take a glance around! There are literally gyms, health clubs, and weight training programs on every corner these days. It's time to do some brief research and join one. It doesn't matter if you prefer the machines or good old-fashioned free weights. With the spectrum of equipment provided these days, you will pretty much have your choice to pick from. What are you waiting for? It's time to get that body you've always wanted.


I have to admit, I was always that skinny kid, growing up. In high school I was 6'1'' and only weighed about 155 pounds. That's fairly slim you could say. It's not that I didn't eat. I ate anything and everything I could get my greedy little hands on. I loved food just as much as the next guy. However, when you have a fast metabolism, you're simply going to burn it all off. It was time to make a change. Therefore, my senior year in high school I took a shot at a weight training program. I didn't worry about developing a great routine via a knowledgeable trainer. My older brother was already a weight-lifting nut, and he got me started with a good regime. In no time I had acquired a decent weight training program that was perfect for me. In addition, I resorted to the local GNC store for a few protein supplements. I needed that extra shot of protein and carbs if I really wanted to pack on some mass. Fortunately the weight training program worked and I was able to reach 170 pounds. It may not be huge, but it's 15 pounds of additional muscle.
