There is something that every high school graduate aught to know. So, do you want to know what it is, or what? Oh, of course you do, so let me lay it on you as quickly and painlessly as possible. College is expensive! Ah ha, so you just learned something new, right? On the other hand, you may have already known this. Actually you may have heard those exact three words a million times before. Well, that's all fine and good. I just wanted to make it clear. So I suppose since you've already heard the spiel about how expensive college is, you've already started preparing and saving for tuition, books, and living expenses. Ha! Now you know that's a joke. I'll bet you've done nothing whatsoever. Hey, join the club. Then again, maybe it's time you got started. The key is opportunity scholarships.
I always hate it when kids squelch or dismiss their opportunities. This makes absolutely no sense at all. I told my teenage daughter that she did this. She just graduated from high school last May. She has always received good grades, and she graduated with a 3.65. This is wonderful if you ask me. She is up for opportunity scholarships. This is free cash if you don't understand the meaning of scholarships and grants. Any fool in their right mind would snag them if they had the choice. It's so much free capital to put toward your education. It may even pay for the whole thing. I can't even fathom such a treat. I would have done back flips if someone offered to finance my higher education. It's such a great gift. Speaking as someone who already went through a four year college, please take my advice. Unfortunately I don't know if my daughter is up for any sort of opportunity scholarships now. It's probably too late. I guess it bothers me because she was constantly reminded by us from her junior year. That's over a year of reminders. How many can a kid possibly need? Your computer is a great place to begin if you're interested in opportunity scholarships. Hop on the web and see what you may be eligible for. It doesn't matter if you're not a senior yet. Take advantage of starting early on. This is the prudent rout for sure. If opportunity scholarships are available in your near future, go after them like you mean it.
