Bottom Freezer Refrigerator

Refrigerators are something that all of us have, but we don’t a lot of thought into them. Right now I have what might be considered a small refrigerator, and I hate it. I cannot wait until I own my own home and I can choose the refrigerator that I want to have. When I choose my own refrigerator, not only will it be large, it will probably be a bottom freezer refrigerator. I don’t know why they were not built this way to begin with, but this is by far the most convenient way to build a refrigerator.

I only know one person who has a bottom freezer refrigerator. I don’t know why more people don’t have the these. The freezer is, as you might have guessed, at the bottom. I have never understood why the freezer is on the top, as people tend to get in their freezer far less than they do the refrigerator. It would only make sense to have the refrigerator part on top for easier access. When they are built this way there is far less bending. A bottom freezer refrigerator may cost a little more, but I think that cost would be well worth it.

I know that there are many built so that the freezer and the refrigerator are side-by-side. Though this is better than the freezer on the top, the bottom freezer refrigerator is still the best choice for me. I know that every time I have to open my current refrigerator I have to bend over. Though it might be the perfect height for my five-year-old, my husband and I both detest having to bend over every time we want something to drink. We have already agreed that a bottom freezer refrigerator will be something we’ll be getting in the future.

You should be able to find a bottom freezer refrigerator almost anywhere you buy appliances. Though these are not as popular as the other types, I think this is because many people do not realize how inconvenient the other type has been. Quite often we just go with what we know, and that means we might hesitate to buy a bottom freezer refrigerator. Next time you shop for any appliances have a look and see if you like them. You may find that you take one home with you. Sometimes we don’t realize how inconvenient something is until we see in the better option.
